Matt West returns to Beauty and the Beast, having choreographed the original 1994 Broadway production (Drama-Logue Award; Olivier nomination, Drama Desk nomination, Outer Critics Circle nomination), winner of the 1998 Olivier Award for Best New Musical. West has directed and choreographed the reimagined productions of Beauty and the Beast in the UK and Ireland, Australia, and Singapore. Broadway: Lestat (Palace Theatre). Off-Broadway: Mimi le Duck; Disenchanted. Regional: Elaborate Lives (Alliance Theatre). International: Little Shop of Horrors (Buenos Aires); The Wanderer (Parco Theatre, Tokyo). Other: Trolls Live! (Cirque du Soleil). As a performer, West played Bobby on Broadway in A Chorus Line and reprised the role in Sir Richard Attenborough’s 1985 film adaptation.
